In my last post, you learned about your self-preservation instinct, and the devious methods it will use to get you to stay in your current patterns.
Its first tactic is to send conscious thoughts of doubt, using your own logic and rationale. It knows exactly which arguments to use with you… because it knows you!
If you somehow manage to ignore those conscious thoughts of self-doubt, and press forward, it will ”release the hounds” using any and all means to get you to retreat to “safety”.
The next tactic it will throw at you is ….
CHAOS!!
Have you ever noticed that when you try to make a major change in your life, all “hell breaks lose?” Your world, in an instant, starts collapsing in around you. It’s harder to take the high road. It is.
It’s harder to focus on what’s right, instead of what’s easy. It is.
It’s harder to put the needs of others first. It is.
Especially when it comes to building business and making money.
In a person’s zeal to create wealth, thinking gets distorted. Driven by the self-serving thought, “Who can I sell this to“, too many network marketers desperately hustle, harangue and pound their business opportunity down the throats of every person they’ve ever known.
I mean, ever known, from Kindergarten teachers to long lost relatives.
“Hi, it’s John! How ARE you??!! Look, I know we haven’t talked in 33 years but I came across this business opportunity and immediately thought of YOU….”
