If you KNOW just one thing today:
It’s not the fear of “failure” so much, that holds people back, it’s the fear of humiliation.
We can handle failing, if it wasn’t so damn humiliating.
Looking stupid and feeling stupid sucks. It really does. And that is the price you have to be willing to pay whenever you step forward into growth … whenever you put yourself out there.
But you know what sucks even more? Knowing that you could have been so much more. That you could have contributed so much more. That you could have experienced so much more.
Sigh.
You can have EVERYTHING you have ever wanted in life, if you are willing to let yourself feel discomfort. If you are willing to look a little stupid once in a while. If you are willing to risk a little pride.
That’s really all we’re talking about here. So the question is: Are your dreams worth it?
If you DO just one thing today: Something uncomfortable! Whatever it is that you have been resisting … do it today. |

now … doesn’t your fear about looking stupid… just seem so stupid ; ) Yup, thought so.
